Licensing Workshare Professional, Protect, and Compare 9 is simpler than ever. There are two licensing methods: User Authenticated licensing and Enterprise licensing. You can choose whichever one is right for your environment.
Customers who will be using the Connect elements of Professional 9 will choose User Authenticated licensing. With this method, the first time a user accesses Workshare functionality they are prompted to enter their unique username and password in order to retrieve their license entitlements. This licensing method has many additional benefits, including:
Automated license delivery
Seamless subscription and license extension renewal
In-product subscription visibility
User accounts that are provisioned in the Admin Console
The ability to track and manage users centrally

If your users will not be using the Connect functionality in Professional 9, you may be interested in Enterprise licensing. This license comes in the form of a Registry file that can be deployed across your network. To request an Enterprise license, contact Customer Support.
